Tulle Me

Blazer: Vintage, Camisole: The Editor's Market, Tulle Skirt: AforArcade, Heels: The Editor's Market, Round Sunglasses: Topshop, Earrings: Topshop

We are back on the seemingly recurring theme of me dressing like I'm 5 (check here), prancing around in tulle skirts. My love for these ballerina-esque pieces definitely stem from a childhood obsession with Barbie dolls and dressing them up. Well, what I did was dress this skirt up with a blazer (my grandmother's!) and heels but I'm quite excited to do a casual look as well, a jersey cropped top and some matching sneakers. Let's be real tho, a blazer is almost impossible to keep on in this tropical heat.

Apart from this outfit, I've mostly been out and about in whites, in hopes the lights/brights will lift my moods, things have been pretty bumpy lately. Just a week of holiday left and I plan to spend it on a good balance of alone time and catch ups before things get hectic with the beginning of the new semester.

Hope you're doing well x

Styling It Simple

I tried to throw a blazer on, trust me, I really tried. But I was perspiring before I even left the house so it was a no go from me. Anyway, I love the fit and look of cigarette pants (it's rare for someone tiny like me, cropped things are hardly ever cropped on me) You can dress them up formally or dress them down. Not to mention, they are quite comfy for running around! I wanted to keep things simple and sleek, how do you think I faired? Also, a lot more of my white clothing are meeting the sun because I really think my new hair and the whites go well together. Maybe even better than coffee and I??

I am enjoying every bit of the school holiday and extremely pleased with the fact that I have the time and freedom (not to mention, energy) to delve into playing with my style and dressing up anytime I please.

I am about to start on another old episode of American Horror Story, what are you up to?

Alternative post titles include: "Trudging the Urban Farm" and "I Was On My Way to the Fields" hahaha

I know I am v late to this dungaree bandwagon, I always thought it reminded me of what I wore when I was 5 (really, really, not a bad thing tho) But I was inspired to try the look after watching Sarah Jessica Parker pull off a similar outfit perfectly on an episode of Sex and The City, so here you go!

I know I am also late to the slider bandwagon (always late) but I always thought they were hard to pull off and have to be very well executed, if not you look like you were dashing out the door and grabbed your bed room slippers, ya feel???? But when I found these, I fell in love. It's not hard to tell that I love anything and everything sparkly and these crystals sealed the deal. You won't be missing my shoes on the shoe rack.
